Here’s what others have to say…

“I began seeing Tod for BodyWalking a week before the 2012 70.3 World Championships, I felt so relaxed and comfortable throughout the race that I continued seeing him bi-weekly leading up to Ironman Hawaii and Arizona. I can say without a doubt that BodyWalking helped rejuvenate and free up my tight muscles, especially my piriformis, allowing me to race to my true potential. Using multiple 15 second ischemic compressions, followed by a release on the muscle, helped flush out any waste products that may have accumulated during training. Additionally, with Tod’s unique BodyWalking method, the therapist never tires and allows the athlete to receive deep pressure to the muscles for 90 minute sessions or even longer. I would recommend Tod and his BodyWalking method to anyone who wants to improve their training and performance in all aspects of life.”

I have been a massage therapist for 18 years and have taken many continuing education classes.  BodyWalking is the most helpful therapy I’ve found.  It seems my effort has been cut in half while the therapeutic benefits for my clients is greatly increased.  My clients love it and I feel this modality will lengthen the years I am able to do the work I love.

I have been getting massages for the last 8 years because I used to run in college, then 5 years ago I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and they help me immensely. BodyWalking takes it to a whole new level. I finally had my first BodyWalking session in March and fell in love! I can go to the session with sore shoulders with limited mobility, tell Tod and 20 minutes later I feel euphoric.

If I don’t have time for a full hour massage session Tod can almost always get me in for at least a half hour during my lunch break and make me feel as good as if I had a 2 hour massage if not better. If I have the extra time he does both BodyWalking and regular deep tissue massage to focus on certain areas which is the best, but either way BodyWalking is the newest way to get more for your money!  Getting walked on never felt so good! 🙂

I was extremely pleased with the immediate and residual effects provided by a session of Body Walking Therapy.  As an avid golfer it often takes several holes before my body has loosened up and is fully functioning. After a Body Walking session I had immediate fluidity and an increase in power and stamina. It was one of the best rounds of golf I have had in years. I have had several subsequent sessions with similar increases in flexibility, strength, energy and balance.     I would recommend this to any athlete looking for a competitive edge or individual who just wants to feel better!

At the beginning of 2012 I first experienced BodyWalking when I was working along side Tod Miller at a health expo in Phoenix. I was performing chair massage to various clients at the health expo and the average treatment lasted 15-20 minutes. By the end of the day I was pretty exhausted from working straight through for 8 hours. Tod had been doing BodyWalking on various clients throughout the day with treatments lasting about the same time as my chair massage. However at the end of his day he seemed to have plenty of energy. From that point on I knew that I wanted to become a Certified BodyWalker.

Since I have become a certified BodyWalker I have been able to provide a much more therapeutic session for my clients but at the same time making it easier on my body. The longevity aspect is what really drew me to the BodyWalking because I love my career and would like to continue body work for many many years to come. BodyWalking has definetely given me that opportunity without sacrificing the quality of treatment but actually enhancing the quality.  I’m a real believer in BodyWalking especially from a Licensed Massage Therapist perspective and would reccommend any body work practitioner to take the course if they are serious about continuing their career for years to come.

“The techniques used in Beyond Massage Therapy enabled my muscles to work harder in practice and perform better in competition.
I have a better feel for the water.”

As a middle of the pack Ironman Triathlete, I’m out there to have fun, and challenge myself.  However, as I’ve gotten older I’ve been plagued by injuries that have kept me from training and racing.

Tod’s BodyWalking technique has been helping to loosen up my joints and muscles in a way that allows me to start training again, shed some pounds, and look forward to racing again.   Thanks Tod!!!
